The system is broken.
We're fixing it.
NeuroAxis was founded to challenge the status quo — to put right what is wrong with how neurodevelopmental conditions are identified, assessed, and managed in the UK. Not just to be another private clinic, but to fundamentally raise the bar.
The Problem
Five years. That's the average wait.
In many parts of England, a person referred to NHS ADHD services today will wait over five years for an assessment. That's five years of struggling at school, at work, in relationships — without answers, without support, without a name for what's happening.

"The private sector stepped in to fill the gap — but too often, it replicated the same problems. Volume over quality. Speed over rigour. Revenue over patient outcomes."
— The observation that founded NeuroAxis
What We Stand For
A different kind of clinic. By design.
NeuroAxis was built on a simple but radical belief: that the patient experience is just as important as the clinical outcome. A diagnosis delivered badly, slowly, or without compassion is not good enough — regardless of how technically accurate it may be.
Lean, well-engineered processes eliminate waste without cutting corners. We apply the same systems-thinking used in high-performance industries to clinical operations — because a patient's time matters as much as clinical accuracy.
Arriving at a diagnosis already feeling heard, respected and understood changes the trajectory of what comes next. We design every touchpoint — from first contact to written report — with that in mind.
NICE NG87 compliance. QbCheck objective testing included as standard. NMC-registered specialist clinicians. These are not marketing claims — they are the baseline we refuse to fall below.
Fully remote delivery means NeuroAxis is available to every adult and child across the UK — not just those who live near a clinic or can afford to travel. No waiting list. No GP referral required.
Pricing is clear. Processes are clear. What happens after your assessment is clear. We believe informed patients make better decisions and have better outcomes — so we give them everything they need to be informed.
Why This Exists
This isn't theory. It's lived experience.
The clinician who followed the evidence
Our Clinical Director spent 15 years across NHS services — A&E, community nursing, end of life care, health visiting, and substance misuse. In that final chapter, a pattern became impossible to ignore: a striking proportion of the individuals she worked with had undiagnosed, untreated ADHD.
The research now supports what she observed firsthand. Untreated ADHD dramatically increases the risk of substance dependency, mental health breakdown, relationship failure, and unemployment. She moved into specialist ADHD assessment — and brought with her one of the most comprehensive clinical skill sets in the UK private sector.
The moment that made it real
NeuroAxis's founder knows exactly what is at stake — not from a textbook, but from watching it unfold in his own life. A child close to him: bright, capable, but struggling and underperforming, with teachers increasingly concerned. The kind of situation that quietly narrows a young person's future.
After diagnosis and the right medication, within six weeks she was functioning at the top of her year group. She is now excelling in secondary school. Night and day.
The founder was also diagnosed — and describes it simply as the moment the mental handcuffs came off. Clarity. Focus. Direction. NeuroAxis followed.
"A diagnosis doesn't just change a patient's life. It changes the trajectory of everything that comes after — school, work, relationships, mental health. Getting it right, and getting it quickly, is not a luxury. It is a clinical and moral imperative."

Looking Ahead
This is just the beginning.
NeuroAxis launched as a specialist ADHD clinic — but our vision has always been broader than that. The neurodevelopmental landscape does not exist in neat diagnostic boxes, and neither should we.
Coming soon
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Assessment
ADHD and ASD frequently co-occur — and too many people are assessed for one without the other being properly explored. NeuroAxis is committed to expanding into ASD assessment, because we believe in offering the complete neurodevelopmental picture, not a partial one.
This is not a distant aspiration. It is a direction we are actively building towards — because the families and individuals who come to us deserve a pathway that follows their needs wherever they lead.
CQC Registration
Establishing NeuroAxis as a fully regulated provider — the gateway to insurance recognition and NHS partnership.
Insurance Recognition
Making expert assessment accessible through private medical insurance — not just out-of-pocket.
ASD Assessment
Expanding our clinical scope to cover the full neurodevelopmental spectrum — ADHD and ASD under one roof.
Integrated Pathways
From diagnosis through to therapy, medication management and workplace support — a genuinely joined-up pathway.
